Anyways I turned 19 years of age this day, not sure when exactly as in hours, minutes, seconds-wise.
Anyways I thank everyone for a wonderful year it was. It has really been eventful for me so many things I have done in the past year. Including fulfilling one of my ambitions, and that is stand-up comedy.
It has been a wild 18th year of existence heres a list on what happened the recent year.
- Survived CRSDEVE after three defenses with only two people in the group
- I became an officer for a school organization called MOOMEDIA
- My sister married Evan in april, bringing forth the biggest family reunion ever. In which I met my in-laws which were a wonderful bunch
- Entered the seniors division of basketball in my village, our team won the championships which was my 4th straight.
- Got a 3.0 in TCHDEVE despite almost being failed in the second defense.
- That very same term I was included in the Dean's List for the first time
- Got my Xbox 360, call me a geek but this is big for me!
- Oh FILM, my preffered course was FILM and I got closer to the industry by becoming a writer for the DLSU segment for RUSH TV
- That same TV show put me in a TV segment for GLOBE.
- I got meself my first paycheck from this segment!
- Finally formed a band to enter our college's annual battle of the bands, which we won second!
- Fulfilled one of my ambitions by joining Jack Tv's Laffapalooza. Eventually I lost to two
SONS OF BITCHESAteneans, I got 3rd place! Through this contest I performed infront of an audience for the first time. - BUT I was given the oppurtunity to become part of the pioneers of american style of stand-up comedy in the philippines. I am now part of The Comedy Cartel, Philippines' premier standup comedy group!
- Had my first paying gig! earned from Comedy Cartel's first show in Mag:net!
Include the amount of friends I have made this year and the existing friends I have bonded with more, I could well say that that was the most awesome year of my life! And I am so fuckin ready for my next year of existence!
