On Aging Happily

A lot of people worry about aging on their birthdays. How many times have you heard these?

"Shet ang tanda ko na!"

"Tumanda nanaman ako!"

Don't get me wrong, I know a lot of people are cheery for other things in their birthdays, but the chink in that chain has always been the age thing.

Me? I don't worry about it much. I am turning 20 soon, and I'm not worried about getting old at all. A friend asked me if I was worried that I was turning 20, that I am not gonna be a teen anymore, that I'm not a kid anymore. That I would be aged and old.

I said I wasn't worried at all. I believe at 20, I have accomplished more than I expected I would.

At 20, I have already achieved and currently living one of my life-ambitions

I only have one or two terms left for my bachelor's degree

I am already primed and ready to study LAW to achieve another one of my life goals.

I have worked as a writer, director, talent caster, cameraman, talent and all that jazz for a National Television Show. (that you probably never heard of)

And this year I have lost a total of 40lbs, gained 17lbs back, and lost 10lbs again.

And I'm not even someone special, I'm just a guy who puts on his pants one leg at a time. So the next time you guys think about getting old, think about that happened in that year first. Think about what have you guys done in the past. I'm pretty sure you guys have a moment, an achievement that makes aging WORTH IT!

My main goal before I turn 21 is to lose more weight, get into better shape. I want to lose 50lbs this time around! I CAN DO IT!
