People think of me as a happy person. So this may come as a shock to you.
So before you guys react, I want you to read the whole post so that you would understand
This morning, I woke up with a heavy heart, so I dragged my sorry-ass living carcass down the stairs, and snuck in my parents room. Hidden inside a box, is Dad's gun.
Every night, when I do this, I always fail to even hold the weapon
But this morning, this faithful eventful morning, I held it.
With it comes power, the power to give me salvation from this world. From this stupid game that we call life, where in everybody loses at the end. Everybody gets hurt, everybody gets screwed and everybody dies.
With this weapon, I can outsmart life. I can escape, getting screwed, I can escape getting hurt and just fast forward to our imminent ending.
I just got my ticket outta this place
This morning, I kissed the gun. I bit the barrell, and let the cold of the steel vibrate on my teeth. And inhale death itself
And by the time you read this you're probably too late
cause
this morning
I finally convinced myself
TO
PULL
THE
TRIGGER

On Aging Happily
A lot of people worry about aging on their birthdays. How many times have you heard these?
"Shet ang tanda ko na!"
"Tumanda nanaman ako!"
Don't get me wrong, I know a lot of people are cheery for other things in their birthdays, but the chink in that chain has always been the age thing.
Me? I don't worry about it much. I am turning 20 soon, and I'm not worried about getting old at all. A friend asked me if I was worried that I was turning 20, that I am not gonna be a teen anymore, that I'm not a kid anymore. That I would be aged and old.
I said I wasn't worried at all. I believe at 20, I have accomplished more than I expected I would.
At 20, I have already achieved and currently living one of my life-ambitions
I only have one or two terms left for my bachelor's degree
I am already primed and ready to study LAW to achieve another one of my life goals.
I have worked as a writer, director, talent caster, cameraman, talent and all that jazz for a National Television Show. (that you probably never heard of)
And this year I have lost a total of 40lbs, gained 17lbs back, and lost 10lbs again.
And I'm not even someone special, I'm just a guy who puts on his pants one leg at a time. So the next time you guys think about getting old, think about that happened in that year first. Think about what have you guys done in the past. I'm pretty sure you guys have a moment, an achievement that makes aging WORTH IT!
My main goal before I turn 21 is to lose more weight, get into better shape. I want to lose 50lbs this time around! I CAN DO IT!

Catching up on MMFF
Every year I make it a habit that I watch at least one entry in the MMFF. But sadly, last year, a series of unfortunate events (not Lemony's) prevented me to do so. And I really wanted to watch Resiklo and Katas ng Saudi.
Anyways, I was @ cash and carry this afternoon and I was lured to an Astrovision by a section that was called "Indie" much to my (slight) disappointment, Indie apparently is a euphemism for PORNO. But I was then attracted by the stall beside it, it was a section for Filipino Movies, and I quickly scrambled through the shelves, lookin for classics like Jose Rizal, Muru Ami, Dekada '70, Bagong Buwan, Bata Bata Pano Ka Ginawa and some part of me was also lookin for Haba Baba Doo Puti Puti Poo. But to no avail
Luckily I found Katas ng Saudi and Resiklo, which was around 400-500 each. And it got me thinking
Why the hell are they selling Tom Hanks Movies for P150 and selling Bong revilla Movies for P500. hmmmm... But it hit me again. I could get this in Ruins for like P45 but... I need to support Philippine Cinema so I dunno, what got me... But I bought it! So finally I can catch up with MMFF!
Im so ready for this year's too!
I wanna see Dayo and Magkaibigan.

Dream MISMATCH
TAGUMPAY! My prediction was wrong! cause man-o-man I expected Oscar De La Hoya to atleast put some thrill in the fight but nooo. Manny was too quick, too powerful and too goddamn fast to be standing in the ring with. Oscar is too old for this. Good thing he got a lot out of the fight
Ricky Hatton is next? Are they serious? Why the hell are they even considering that guy? Oh well easy money for manny!

Manny Pacquiao - Oscar De La Hoya - Predictions and Analysis
I'm so so so so so so so god diddly-amn excited that I can't even play my Xbox. This is the fight of the century my friends, THE CENTURY this will go down in History as one of the best matchups in the world. Ok lets get on with it.
PREDICTION: Manny Pacquiao Wins by Unanimous Decision after 12 rounds.
ANALYSIS:
The Jab Battle
Both figters have very good skills in doing the jab. Oscar being an olympian, is a world class boxer and he should try and establish jab domination and keep his distance from Manny. By doing so he will be where he is comfortable, picking his spots from a distance and preventing his opponent from unleashing a barrage of power punches to his face.
Pacquiao on the other hand is a Slugger turned Boxer, He should establish jab domination and use it to get inside and rumble it in there. From a distance, Manny should use his deadly Jab-Straight one two that had success in either giving instantaneous knockdowns to boxer's with weak chins (Marquez) or Peppering and tenderizing their opponents to prepare them for a late round knockdown (Morales)
Toughness
Oscar De La Hoya's chin has already been tried and tested, he is almost impossible to be knocked down. His only loss by knock out was against The Executioner Bernard Hopkins and this was a bout at 160lbs. He has never lost from a KO in any other fight. But from his recent fights, Oscar's chin showed a small amount of degration. Lets face it, he's past his prime, so the old iron chin may have a wee-bit of rusting.
Manny Pacquiao has already lost two fights via Knockout, but none of them are significant enough to have an influence in this fight. The first one was when he was just 11 fights young, and it was even before he had a world title. The second one was because he had to be dehydrated to make weight to defend his title.
Anyways Manny's chin isn't really invulnerable, he has shown signs that he can get really hurt in a fight (Larios, Morales 1 and 2, Barrera's cheap shot), and the good thing about Manny is he can retreat well. Manny knows when to put his hands up and he knows when to leave a barrage of punches while retreating to the opposite side of the ring. Manny has tremendous footwork, he can circle around you within a blink of an eye.
Strength
Oscar may be an olympian, but if he can, he would never leave the fight for the judges to decide. De La Hoya has a very cunning killer instinct, once he sees blood he'll go for it like a shark in a shark movie. He has been known to go all-out and slug til someone drops once he smells that blood.
Manny probably is the most strongest fighter pound for pound. He has proven that his strength is always a deciding factor in his fights. He has also proven that his power can bring down huge opponents like David Diaz. But don't expect Manny to dish out a flash-knockdown ala Marquez here. Pacquiao's corner should be devicing a tactic similar to the Morales2 fight slow dissection and decimation setting up for a late round KO.
and finally THE WEIGHT DIFFERENCE
Kelly Pavlik - Bernard Hopkins. thats a perfect example of Manny Pacquiao and Oscar De La Hoya's situation right now. Manny should learn from that fight, where in Pavlik, the smaller fighter loses to a semi-has-been and larger Bernard Hopkins.
Pacquiao is at a disadvantage here, weight-wise. And he's not just fighting any other big fighter, he's fighting The Golden Boy here. But The Golden Boy isn't really the Golden Boy now. He has already endured shattering defeats and recently just acquired easy victories. Not to mention that he just fights only around once times a year. While Pacquiao is at his prime, and is on a hot streak of outstanding victories and money-fights.
Conclusion
Manny Pacquiao will come in strong, The fight would go back and forth but Manny Pacquiao's strength and speed and youth will be the deciding factor here. Most of the rounds Oscar will be on the Defense. Manny will establish dominance but will probably not score a knockdown against his toughest opponent yet.
therefore
Manny Pacquiao Wins by Unanimous Decision after 12 rounds.
